Meet the Coach

Jordan Hill was named head coach of Stevenson’s girls varsity volleyball program in 2025 after serving as an assistant coach for the previous three seasons.

Jordan is passionate about building a program rooted in hard work, accountability, resilience and genuine connection. She believes success extends far beyond wins and losses and is committed to helping student-athletes grow into confident leaders, supportive teammates and outstanding young women both on and off the court.

Now entering her 11th season of coaching, Jordan has worked with athletes at the high school and club levels across Arizona and California. She has coached with Northern Arizona Juniors, Ascent Volleyball Club, Sand Volleyball Club of Monterey and Stevenson, leading teams ranging from 15U to 18U while helping athletes pursue collegiate opportunities and reach their full potential.

Before beginning her coaching career, Jordan competed at the collegiate level, first at Central Arizona College, where she was a two-year starter, team captain and First Team All-Conference selection. She then transferred to Northern Arizona University (NCAA Division I), earning her bachelor’s degree in communication while competing as both a setter and defensive specialist.

As a senior in 2015, Jordan appeared in 30 matches and ranked second on the team in assists and third in service aces, helping lead the Lumberjacks to the Big Sky Conference Championship and the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1999. In recognition of that historic season, Jordan and her teammates were inducted into the Northern Arizona University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.

Originally from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Jordan grew up in Leesburg, Virginia, where she attended Loudoun County High School. During her playing career, she helped lead the Raiders to a Virginia State Championship in 2010 and a State Semifinal appearance in 2011.

Collegiate Excellence: Stevenson volleyball has a proud history of developing athletes who go on to compete at the collegiate level. Graduates of the program have continued their athletic careers at respected NCAA programs across all divisions, showcasing the skill, discipline and work ethic fostered at Stevenson. The program’s commitment to player development, academic excellence and college recruitment support has helped open doors for student-athletes to succeed at the next level.

At Stevenson, Volleyball thrives within an athletic department that champions multi-sport participation. Guided by wellness and performance research, we develop well-rounded players while fully supporting those pursuing collegiate opportunities as well as those seeking the camaraderie and growth of being part of a team. Athletes have year-round access to courts and training spaces for optional technical work (serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking), small-group play, open gyms, and strength/mobility with an emphasis on jump mechanics and safe landings. In season, practices are purposeful and coaching is individualized; out of season, training is flexible—designed to complement other team commitments so students can excel across multiple sports.
