Meet the Coach

Jordan Leiter brings over a decade of coaching experience at the high school, club and collegiate levels, with a focus on team culture, technical development and leadership, both on and off the court.

Her coaching style combines positive leadership with clear expectations, creating a competitive yet supportive environment that encourages athletes to build confidence and discipline.

Jordan Leiter was named Head Coach of Stevenson’s Girls Varsity Volleyball team in 2025 after serving as an assistant coach for the previous three seasons.

Originally from Leesburg, Virginia, Jordan played high school volleyball at Loudoun County High School, where she helped lead her team to a state championship in 2010 and a state semifinal appearance in 2011. She continued her athletic career at Central Arizona College, serving as a two-year starter and team captain. A First Team All-Conference selection in 2013, she ranked second in the NJCAA in assists (11.27/set) and fourth in aces (0.76/set) and helped lead her team to a Region I Championship.

Jordan transferred to Northern Arizona University (NCAA Division I), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and competed as a setter and defensive specialist. During her senior season in 2015, she appeared in 30 matches and ranked second on the team in assists and third in service aces. She played a key role in the Lumberjacks’ Big Sky Conference Championship — their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1999. In 2022, Jordan and her teammates from that historic team were inducted into the NAU Athletics Hall of Fame.

Jordan has coached for several respected club programs including Northern Arizona Juniors, Ascent Volleyball Club, and Sand Volleyball Club in Monterey, leading 15U–18U teams and mentoring players with collegiate potential. She is focused on helping athletes develop into strong teammates, dedicated competitors and capable leaders.

Training Advantage

At Stevenson, Volleyball thrives within an athletic department that champions multi-sport participation. Guided by wellness and performance research, we develop well-rounded players while fully supporting those pursuing collegiate opportunities as well as those seeking the camaraderie and growth of being part of a team. Athletes have year-round access to courts and training spaces for optional technical work (serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking), small-group play, open gyms, and strength/mobility with an emphasis on jump mechanics and safe landings. In season, practices are purposeful and coaching is individualized; out of season, training is flexible—designed to complement other team commitments so students can excel across multiple sports.

Whether you’re preparing for college volleyball or looking to contribute in a competitive, supportive environment, there’s a place for you in Stevenson Volleyball.
