Meet the Coach
Wendy Grover has led Stevenson School’s girls tennis program since 2005, and in her 21st season at the helm, she remains one of the most respected coaches in the region.
Under her leadership, the Pirates have earned an impressive 11 league championships, consistently competing at the highest level in the Gabilan Division of the PCAL—widely regarded as one of the most competitive leagues in the Central Coast Section.

Training Advantage
At Stevenson, Tennis thrives within an athletic department that champions multi-sport participation. Guided by wellness and performance research, we develop well-rounded players while fully supporting those pursuing collegiate opportunities as well as those seeking the camaraderie and growth of being part of a team. Athletes have year-round access to courts and training spaces—ball machine work, serving targets, footwork ladders, and the weight room—for optional technical sessions (serve/return, footwork, patterns of play), doubles tactics, match play, and strength/mobility. In season, practices are purposeful and coaching is individualized; out of season, training is flexible—designed to complement other team commitments so students can excel across multiple sports.
Whether you’re preparing for college tennis or looking to contribute in a competitive, supportive environment, there’s a place for you in Stevenson Tennis.
