A supportive environment with a competitive spirit that challenges players to grow in confidence, resilience and skill.
For players seeking a place to thrive both as a student and a high-level athlete, Stevenson offers an exceptional girls soccer program set against the stunning backdrop of Pebble Beach. Stevenson’s experienced coaching staff emphasizes both individual development and team cohesion, ensuring every player receives the attention they need to reach their full potential. With a culture rooted in sportsmanship, leadership and academic balance, Stevenson is more than a school – it’s a launchpad for driven student-athletes who want to succeed on and off the field.

Meet the Coach
Phillip Koshi comes to Stevenson with a distinguished soccer background, having previously been an assistant coach at The Taft School in Connecticut, a top-tier program consistently ranked among the best in New England and nationally.
Since joining the faculty in fall 2019 as the department chair of the World Languages department, he has also brought his passion for soccer to the Pirates as an assistant coach and then head coach of the girls varsity soccer team.

Training Advantage
At Stevenson, soccer thrives within an athletic department that champions multi-sport participation. Guided by wellness and performance research, we develop well-rounded players while fully supporting those pursuing collegiate opportunities as well as those seeking the camaraderie and growth of being part of a team. Athletes have year-round access to turf and training spaces for optional technical work (first touch, finishing, passing patterns), small-sided play, film study, and strength/mobility. In season, practices are purposeful and coaching is individualized; out of season, training is flexible—designed to complement other team commitments so students can excel across multiple sports.
Whether you’re preparing for college soccer or looking to contribute in a competitive, supportive environment, there’s a place for you in Stevenson Soccer.
